Moving Kiddos

Just to let you know I believe I'm going to start blogging it up on Myspace.  You can find me at www.myspace.com/vintagerocker . But for all you kiddos you don't have a myspace account (for some insane reason), I'll just repeat my posts on here.  And I swear the Valentine theme will go away when I have time to search for a wonderful new one.

For everyone who might not have noticed my change in job status I got a new job as a receptionist at Shear Pleasure Salon.  To tell you the absolute truth I'm very happy about this decision.  Abuelo's was becoming too much for me.  This way I can make more money with less hours.

My new hours are heaven, sweet heaven:

Tuesday-Thursday 3pm-7pm

Friday 3pm-6pm

Every other Saturday 8:30am-3pm

Why am I blessed with such great opportunities?  Where in the hell did I go right?!

As for school, a Finance test kicked my ass today.  I'm sure my Money and Banking will kick it again tomorrow.  But I have to say Management is my area because I made a whooping 94 compared to the class average of 75.

I rock myself sometimes.

now why does freaking bubble bath foam up around the front of the bathtub?  it is really annoying and i have to scoot around to get the whole bath filled up with delicious bubbles.

not that i eat them, but i figure if kelly wants it to be the "new" word i might as well use it.

if you listen to the 106.1 morning show you know what i'm talking about.

anyways, today was very uneventful.  i went to school (duh), worked (of course), came home and ate (always) and then now i'm about to settle down with a book (economics is wonderful) and hopefully catch some shut eye afterwards.

because i totally did the whole staying up until almost midnight thing last night and trying to wake up this morning felt like i was hit by a train... maybe a subway.  either way.. really fucking hard.  so i shall not do that again... hopefully.

oh yeah and my funny moment of the day was when the guy from norway in my finance class said:  "i believe our teacher got knocked up."

i think i almost fell out of my chair laughing.. except its one of those annoying swivel chairs and there was a bar to catch my fall.  im sure i looked like one american idiot.

I'm thinking about actually keeping up with this thing, but then again it's past my bedtime and I'm delirious so I could be joking myself...

Tonight at work a car got broken into.  *suprise suprise*  When I called the Arlington Police they needed to know if anything had been stolen... so I asked the lady. 

Yeah the big idiot left her laptop in the front seat, but she managed to lock up her stereo.  Lets think about this one.

No comment.

Anyways I'm off to bed, maybe I'll get some rest.  Leave me comments let me know you're still alive darlings.

Oh my gosh I'm so full!

So today was just another day.  Fun filled with school and work.  Although I have to say work wasen't bad.  We had the Red Hats Society come in.  Looking lovely in their red hats and purple outfits as usual.  (=

Yup well I didn't get my all my homework done today, but I won't weep or worry.  In fact I'm going to try and stay strong this semester w/ all the reading.  Whatever I need to read I will finish this weekend.  Sounds like a plan right?  Right...

Haha I think today was the first time in my college history that I got to watch a video.  Nonetheless... on trucks!  I mean it had its purpose.  I was in Marketing and of course they were showing the different ways competitors had to market their trucks.

Still... a video in college.  Wow.

Oh well... I am off to bed.  I need to sleep.  I've noticed my attitude is a lot better when I sleep.

Wow.  School is back.  I think I'll be fine, but I guess we will see.

Today I went to lunch at Abuelo's for an Employee of the Month Nominee lunch with the managers.  Buuuut I was the only one that showed up out of the employees.  I think I deserve the award just for that, but unfortunately I lost again to the Juan Carlos in the back that does expo.  Last time I lost to the Juan Carlos that did the dishes.  He was nominated as well, but I think it's only fair you win once.

But I took advantage of a free meal even though I'm a loser.  I enjoyed the Alambre de Camaron.  Which of course is a delicious meal that consist of shrimp wrapped in bacon stuffed with jalapenos and mixed cheeses.  Along with it I got refried beans and french fries. 

It was wonderful.  Other then the fact they were signing off a waiter so the managers were asking tons of questions about the menu and I was getting hungry.  Other then that.

Bliss.

I must get to sleep though, I had too much excitment writing my entry about the only meal I ate today.

I take that back...  I had a root beer float about an hour ago.  It was also delicious.
